Welcome to the notes of my Czech Life and Institutions sample test! The quiz is available in my blog post.
The 30-question test follows the official rules and conventions and uses the official questions database available here and here.
It is highly recommended you get familiar with them.
The test may not contain the latest questions. Use this test as a study aid only and always monitor the official question database for updates.
Although these Readme notes are in English, the test itself is not. It’s intentionally written in Czech to help you get familiar with the official exam while testing your proficiency.
Studying the PDF database felt monotonous. So, I decided to write my own test that would generate questions randomly and dinamically ☺️
It was a simple offline script that would randomly pull the questions from a text file containing the whole question database and simply validating the A,B,C,D answer.

Later on, using this protoype’s logic, I wrote a web version as an exercise and decided to make it available on my blog.
There’s a 30-minute timer to simulate the real test environment.
Clickable choices for each multiple-selection questions. You will know whether your answer was correct or not. If answer was incorrect, the test will give feedback with the correct choice.
A real-time counter on the top of both correct and incorrect answers.
Test displays both text and image-based questions.
In case of missing the minimum 60% mark to pass (reaching 13 incorrect questions), the test will finish.
After completing the test, a summary will show:
You will be prompted to download the text file with the results immediatately, if you desire.
Simply go to the test and start clicking your answers away.

You must click the “Další otázka” button to move to the next question.
To repeat the test, refresh the page.
To abort the test, simply go back.
Good luck! 🍀
If you found the test useful, a voluntary contribution to my efforts and hosting costs will be more than welcome! 😉
